Hi, I am Tim Lyons! I became a financial advisor because I kept seeing the same thing: hardworking people — families, business owners, people who had done everything right — reaching a major life transition and realizing they didn’t have a real plan. They had accounts. They had policies. They didn’t have a plan. I founded Lyons Resources to change that. My mission is straightforward: to provide financial planning and advice for your family as if it were my own. That means listening before advising. Building a plan before recommending a product. And staying alongside you through every season — not just when the market moves. Experience that inspires confidence For nearly two decades, I’ve guided families and small business owners across Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, and the Treasure Coast through some of the most important financial decisions of their lives. Before founding Lyons Resources, I advised more than 200 small businesses and over 400 families in risk management and insurance planning. That work gave me a clear-eyed view of the gaps that exist when financial advice is fragmented — when the insurance person doesn’t talk to the investment person, and neither one knows what the CPA is doing. From 2019 to 2024, I built and led a full-service advisory practice within a large national brokerage firm, mentoring developing advisors and facilitating regional training focused on long-term planning and disciplined stewardship. Launching Lyons Resources was a deliberate next step — bringing together the structure and resources of a national platform with the independence and personal attention that families actually deserve.
